Luckily, Takao then battles Kevin and beats him, getting the disk back but leaving Kai disappointed with Rei and Rei with himself. Rei, however, gets distracted by Kevin's "mercy" scene and Driger escapes from his Bey. Rei confronts him before he can escape and they battle for the disk. With a speech from Mariah, Kevin cannot do it, but instead steals one of Kyojyu's data disks while he's making tea. With Kyojyu working all night before the day of the Tournament, Kevin from the White Tigers tries to sneak into where they're sleeping and steal and/or destroy Rei's Driger. They then check out Mariah's Gallux Bit Beast, from the White Tigers, and Takao can't wait for their fight. The Bladebreakers manage to scrape through to the next round, despite some of the Tall Boys' Beys having spikes and being able to generate heat. First up, the Bladebreakers versus the Tall Boys. The Bladebreakers and the White Tigers realize that they will eventually battle each other, and they use this against each other. The BBA Asian Tournament is underway, at the peak of a unbelievably high tower in China. Takao battles and manages to just defeat him, when another Beyblade knocks Dragoon out of the stadium and nearly hits Rei (Kai then reappears and knocks Dragoon out of his way), belonging to a boy named Kevin. The rest of the team try to follow him and fail when they hear a Bey spinning, and find a back-alley Beyblader challenging them to a battle. Realizing the power of friendship as well as the power of Dranzer, Kai returns to the Bladebreakers.Īs Takao, Kai, Max, Kyojyu and Rei fly to Hong Kong to prepare for the Asian Tournament, Kai "quits" the team and walks into the streets. Kai, shocked by the power of Dranzer, doesn't notice the ice beneath him cracking and falls into the frozen water below. Kai thinks that he could easily beat Draciel but he can't and soon Tyson uses Kai's own old Blade, Dranzer to beat the Black Dranzer and defeat Kai. Just at the moment when Kai seems to take the bit-beasts of Tyson and Ray, Max come and challenges Kai. Max is still at the airport, returning from where he was training with Tyson and Ray with his new Beyblade, Draciel. Soon, before the finals, Kai challenges the Bladebreakers to steal their Bit-Beasts and become most powerful Blader. Tyson keeps Dranzer with him and vows to bring Kai back. Tyson finds out and tries to convince Kai to return to the Bladebreakers, but Kai rejects him, throwing his old Beyblade, Dranzer, at Tyson's feet. He finds Black Dranzer, his dream Beyblade and decides to join the Demolition Boys team, aiming to be the best Beyblader. Kai had forgotten about Boris and the training grounds where he had learned almost everything he knew about Beyblading. In Russia, they meet the Boris's team, of which Kai was also a member of in the past. They then go to Russia for the final tournament. The Bladebreakers battle the Majestics and the Bladebreakers win the battle.
